Afternoon all. I'm looking at doing an b18c R swap in my Ek9, was wondering what people do about mapping, which ecu to use, conversion harnesses etc. I've done a couple of B series engine swaps in mk2 Crxs but they were OBD0 and the stock ECU could be socketed and tuned, I don't think that's the case with the 9? Cheers

P28 or P30 ecu can be socketed and mapped. They are obd1 your 9 is a facelift so you will need a obd2b - obd1 conversion harness as well :nice:

Thanks, been off the Honda scene for a while I'm out of touch :). So my plan is to use a B18 long block with the stock ek9 ancillaries, engine harness and dizzy etc. Then just use a p28/p30 ecu with a conversion harness, get it mapped and jobs a good 'un. Sound about right?
