Is mapping a car on a apexi neo a thing of the past on a budget and it's only a track car tat only be out couple a times a year
 
Apexi neo? Isn't that the old vtec controller?
 
The afc neo can be used to make adjustments to fueling, I can't imagine you would see great benefits from it at all though.

a socketed and chipped p28 would be The best cheaper option
 
Yeah your far better off with proper software.

I wasn't aware that you could make fueling adjustments on the neo? How is it doing that? Tricking the intake temps sensor or something?
 
I'm not sure if there are different models, but the AFC neo does (AFC= air fuel control)

Yeah I'd guess it must work something like that, kind of like a piggyback ecu but more basic.

I've never had one but looked in to them briefly years ago
