MCR-VTECs first ever meet was held on 28th October 2007 and since then the club has grown consistently to become one of the best known local car clubs in the country. We have attended various shows, held 14 BIG meets with in excess of 70 cars at some, been featured in the main two UK Japanese car magazines, won an award and always tried to offer our members as much as we can and all with no membership fees. We are now looking forward to celebrating our second birthday as the most popular, most successful, most hard-working, most supported, most loyal, most excellent geographically specific, award winning, magazine featured Honda car club the world has ever known!
With that in mind the club would like to invite you to join us at our Birthday Bash coming up this month. The meet will be in our usual format of meeting up to catch up, grab a coffee and some photos and then join us on a drive to a pub for some late lunch and a good natter. As with our last Birthday Bash we will be drawing tickets for a rafflle for which there are details below and the raffle is open to all MCR-VTEC members. The details of the drive and the pub location will as ever be handed out on the day, tickets for the raffle are also on sale on the day of the meet or can be bought online via the forum.
Best behaviour is expected as ever when attending MCR-VTEC meets and to maintain our reputation we will have no hesitation in recording registration numbers of vehicles driven irresponsibly and passing that information to relevant authorities if required. In simple terms if you like to drive like a tw*t then don't turn up, there is always enough of us to persuade you to go elsewhere.
You have the date and the time will be confirmed along with the hook up point closer to the day, but expect the main hook up point to be around the Trafford area as usual. This is a HONDA ONLY meet and we like to keep it that way so be wary of who you tell
There are 15 raffle prizes at the moment and details are on the forum
We are looking forward to seeing you at the meet. New members are always welcome as long as they abide by the guidelines set out above and on the MCR-VTEC forum. The club has a great reputation and part of that reputation is for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the meets and on the forum. So please feel free to introduce yourselves on the day of the meet or even pop on to the forum beforehand to say hello.
We appreciate nothing more than we appreciate you and your support from members, traders and management alike. We also would like to thanks all the other forums that allow us to spread the word and members of those forums that grace us with their cars, thanks guys you know who you are
) the meets usually start at around 12 noon, hang around for a couple of hours then off on the drive which takes around an hour and a half and then to the food stop for say another hour or two.
