Hi all, just slapping the details of the next MCR-VTEC meet up here if anyone fancies tagging along  Just copied straight from the MCR-VTEC forum.

Guess what? It's meet time once again and this time we're back to our normal format of hooking up, catching up, off for a drive, stop to grab some food and then bugger off back to normality after a day of Honda-ness.

There is a competition running alongside this meet so go check out the competitons section of the MCR-VTEC forum for more details. A couple of decent little prizes for a raffle with proceeds going to support the clubs' chosen charity SAFA. MCR-VTEC » Log in

The Chillfactor meet point is still under development so we are going to have to stick with the trafford retail park. Admittedly it's not the best but suits our needs for the moment. Oddly enough it is known by two names, either Trafford Retail Park or Urmston Retail Park, the address is the same either way.
Trafford Retail Park/Urmston Retail Park,
Urmston, Manchester M41 7FN

As ever details of the drive out and the "pit-stop" will be handed out at the meet with directions and maps etc. The meet will start at 12pm and we'll have around an hour and a half to natter and take pics before we set off on the drive. Make sure you have enough fuel as we can't stop en route if you have to drop out of the convoy. Of course the drive out is always optional.

If you've never been to one of our meets before and are a little apprehensive, then please try not to be. Everyone is welcoming and will be more than happy to say hello. It can take a little guts to do but if you are unsure please come and find me or one of the management team and just say "Hi". We always keep our meets a laid back affair and that goes for the convoys too.

If you want to drive like an idiot we (and there's lots of us) suggest you look elsewhere. We have a great reputation for organising excellent meets and we do not want to lose that. No we don't own the roads but we are happy to offer reg numbers of cars being driven irresponsibly to authorities if required. We all like a spirited drive but we will in no way endanger ourselves, each other or members of the public, that applies to the meet point at a car park, the roads on the drive out and the end stop for food. Seriously guys, if you don't like it don't come! Also be wary of who you tell as this is a HONDA meet and we like to keep it that way. There are lots of Jap car clubs but we are marque specific and that suits us.

So without further ado I'll sod off and put the details of the competition up in the relevant section, you guys can start thinking about the meet and making your cars look purdy. If we get the right weather I'll be looking for a few pics for a club article in the magazines.

Maybe I'll see you there
