hey

ive heard that mg zr brake discs bolt directly onto a jordan?
Been looking at a set of brembo's from a zr for mine, good choice or not?

cheers

i know the mgzs180 282mm's bolt straight up as ive ran those before but thats the limit of my knowledge

zr never came with brembo's, the usual kit that is bodged together is of a 406 coupe....be warned there crap. I have had them before, just bite the bullit and get the willwodds

Most people go with integra calipers but have seen people runing brembo's off the ep but not such a straight swap

Bodged hybrid setups from other cars seldom perform better than the stock stuff.

The MG kit, front AND rear, is fine for the EK though.

Are you talking about a full brake swap from an MG or just discs? As I know a lot of people use MG discs for a 282 conversion, so you get the calipers + carriers from a DC2, EK9, MB6 etc. But use MG discs to maintain the 4x100 pcd.

But if you're talking about calipers etc. I've never heard of anyone using them.

I had MG front calipers on my EK4.

They were ****.

Sure, but they're not cheap as you'd need to go 2 piece discs to get them small enough.
We'd need a wheel though so we can make the kit to fit it.

Just out of interest, why a 13" wheel?

That's what I thought. But fitting something behind 13" wheels for drag racing means they won't be up to much on the road. If you were going for 15" drag wheels like on the car we've done a drag setup for here you can get a slightly bigger setup that can get you to and from the strip as well.

All depends to what level you're going to I suppose.

MG calipers are the same Lucas ones as the MB6 civic and arent as good compared to Type R Nissin's

Im using mg discs 282mm with accord type r calipers twin pot
great combo
