Looks nice. I'm guessing its mechanically sound?

Need to look at the alloys next?
 
It would appear that I have a broken spring :angry2:

However before I worked that out I have been having persistant problems with the centre/downpipe/CAT joint as no matter how I bolt/seal it after a few days it blows like **** (also there is smallish holes on my CAT that blow too) :mad:




So as well as some service parts I have purchased my 3rd gasket and some gun gum



Changed the filter




1991 Ford Escort rubbers as theyre thicker than OEM Honda :win:




More stuff to change






Slowly getting there and I have some plans coming up soon which could go well for the car or not so well :secret:
 
So a very productive day on tuesday

Checked over my brakes as they have began to squeel when almost at a complete stop (copper grease I think will do the trick)




Then I changed the spark plugs... comparison to old plug




Oil change.. now as my little brother who is an apprentice mechanic says he has never seen oil so black, must havebeen 134000 miles of oil :eek2:... looking like someone had made a large black coffee




45 minutes to find the fuel filter (didnt expect it to be staring me in the face)





Which lead me to this





Whilst I had the wheels off I took the worst alloy




Changed the tyre and attached it with a wire brush, nail brush and some engine cleaner to clean it up. Then I decided to give it a quick lick of paint and a polish




:p I think its a big improvement
 
Weather had improved recently so I drove 140 miles to pick up my dads new daily then gave both a good clean







Red?? No shiny pink :p

Been quite busy with the car recently...




where the car sat for the best part of 4 hours



New tyres, exhaust repaired and the underneath looked over for rust and shizz.. Theres tinny bits of surface rust around the spare wheel well but thats it

Then we went a little boost along the back roads so I could blow the dust off my camera



Ohh and I have a rebuilt gearbox now :D



Gave the slag a good clean again since I was off work

So I ****ed off south again for a long weekend.... What a weekend that was (racing police cars, passing speed cameras at speed etc etc etc)

So I spent 8 hours today cleaning the car....

. 3 hours cleaning the engine bay
. 3 hours cleaning, claybarring and polishing the outside (including removing lights, number plate and side skirts)
. 2 hours cleaning the inside as it was a tad dirty


So as usual pictures shall do the talking



Yes thats my finger smudge in the middle (damn it was dirty)



My mate decided to put opened sugar packets in my door pull!!!

Due to being underpaid at work I have had to put the coilovers on hold for the time being so..... 60mm Eibach springs
