moving cars - ireland to england

i have noticed there are a number of ek9's being sold in Ireland and as someone who will be buying one shortly, am keeping all options open, and wondered if there were any difficulties in bringing a car over?

you'd have to vrt it... then vat... excise duties... as well well thats from japan to ireland... 99% sold in ireland are jap imports

is it not just southern ireland you have to do that as a mate of mine bought an ek4 from northern ireland and didnt have any of that bollocks to worry about?

ya just the south... northern irelands a totally different country and in the uk so can drive it straight over
