I bought some Mugen pedals off ebay (not original ones, not for £14) they are not a bad copy, however they will not fit. They need a bit of modifying to fit, the brake and clutch covers need a bit of material removed from the back of them. I had to grind out the side of the cover backs so that they fitted. Even with this removed they will not fit because the 40mm plate that fits on the top of the covers is not wide enough to stopthe covers falling off the pedals. I made up some aluminium plates to fit on the back of the covers so that they fit. 10m X 25m with a coil at the end, I just bent the end back on its self. This will take up the pedalcover slack. I drilled a hole in the aluminium plate so that it would fit between the plate and the pedal. The aluminium plate I used was 2m thick and very easy to bend into shape. The accelerator pedal is a real pain. The original plastic cover is difficult to remove, I did it with a sharp screw driver and some skin from my hand. You can use the 30mm plate at the bottom of the pedal by drilling two and marking out where you want the pedal, however you can’t use the plate at the top of the pedal as there is a large lump of metal on back of the pedal. So just drill a hole in the pedal and use the nuts provided. Remember there will have to be a 50mm gap between the brake and accelerator. The kit comes with2 X Allen keys4 screws (don’t use them)2 metal plates 30mm & 40mm8 Black Allen bolts two sizes.
