thought i would post a few pics of my car and why you shouldnt leave your car parked on a london street. i have had 2 seperate incidents of people hitting my car while its parked:angry2:.

normally i would just go get a used bumper but i want to fix the mugen lip so im taking it to a bodyshop and seeing if they can fix both.:) not sure if they will be able to sort it?

im now in 2 minds with my car. one of my friends crashed his uk ep3 and bought it back from the ins. he offered me cash+his engine for my b18c+box.
if i still had my b16b i would go for it but as i already have a b18c not sure what to do. ive heard its mega bucks to do a k-swap with all the custom bits and fabrication. could maybe get silly powe out of the b18 for the cost?. i have £2000 and dont really want to exceed it. dunno what to do:angry2:

Keep the ek9 with the B18CR in it and get it mint again. It looks like a lovely car. Any pix of it before the damage?
 
I'd say stick with the b18. Although K-series are really nice engines, the one in the ep3 isn't all that great compared to the others. Just my .02. But that sucks to see how many people can't appreciate a great car like that and just don't think twice about messing it up.
 
unlucky....like the lip...is it genuine mugen? can that be repaired easily?

yeah the lip is genuine and hopefully they can fix it. i dont see why it should be a problem.

£2000 will dissapear through your fingers quicker than running sand when doing a K swap,,

I would spend the money on refining your car in its current guise :nice:

maybe a Willtune!! :nice:
 
keep the b18c in there,

as you also dont want the uk ep3 engine, the jdm dc5 engine is where its at and 2k as olly said wont go very far at all.

thing is i have been offered a ukdm k20+cash for my engine
but it seems its going to cost too much for a k20 install:angry:

UKDM has no LSD,,
you need a LSD in a type R,,,
dont bother wasting your money, stick with teh B18C get a willtune and fix that bumper, you will have plenty of power :nice:

but what we all really want to know... how does your ek9 fair against your dads evo???!!!:drive:
