My car got hit the other day

as title says.
it got hit while i wasnt around and no1 has rang me or anything.
there is 2 cracks in my bumper
a have 5cmx2cm paint chip and a scratch at the bottom of the bumper...

what could insurance do for me... i am fully comp
 
but will it count against him is the question, i know in my area if your car is parked with nobody in it and it gets hit it will not count against you, i am in a different country though...
 
yea i know they can fix it but im pretty sure it would be me paying them not the actual bodyshop...
so surely either way i get it fixed im paying or losing NCB
 
Just get it repaired yourself. Youll be paying an excess and you'll more than likely loose your no claims. Might be better of if you have the money sitting around.
 
mmm dunno if i will bother i want a vti next year so will probs save the money...
plus i have other body stuff to do which is annoying
 
If you claim and dont know the details of the third party then it will go down as a fault claim, you will have to pay your excess and you'll lose your NCB.
