Well first noticed this when I was at livvys getting my b-pipe then again when I was installing my harness but basically my EK9 keeps making a moo like noise sounds like it could be the fuel pump priming but it happens like every 2 mins. Its not caused me any problems that I know of yet but Paul has never heard an EK9 do it before and hes broken a few now.

Any ideas??

Will add a youtube link so you can hear it the noise is at 14seconds its kinda quiet as I only filmed it on my phone.

Haha! mine does exactly the same! is it when youve just stopped driving and your sitting in your car?

i would also like to know what this is :)

It is the vent for the fuel tank, does it a lot more in hot weather.

The old Mk2 CRXs are known widely for doing this.... my old one did. Never heard my '9 do it tho.

My old ef civic done the same and my ej9 does it to, it's nothing to worry about ;)

was searching through the site tryin to find the solution to this as my car makes this noise too

only bought it and was sitting up while parked, thought the car was possessed!!!

also, epic thread title! ha ha

yep, really common on Civic/CRX 88-91's

but not so much on the B16's, although my VT does it sometimes, as said, when the weather is a bit hotter

I'm glad that other people were wondering the same thing and this thread has been useful. Seems all cars do it to varying degrees. A Guy with a Nissan pulsar replied on my YouTube video with the same thing so not especially a Honda thing.
