my first type r.... the EP3 CTR

Hi guys! After several SEVERAL attempts to get an ek9 insurance, I have reached a stage where it has become an EPIC FAIL. So then I went for EP3 CTR. Just found one mint condition and can get insured!

This will be my first taste of VTEC. I still do want an ek9 but that will have to wait for a long time. I am actually surpised that people do actually pay over 3 grand for that.

Hmmm my EP3 was nearly a thousand pound more too insure than my EK9 :S

strange, i couldnt insure an ep3 till i was 21 but could insure a ek9 at 19! after going out in both im glad i got an ek9! clean car tho! how old r u? and if u dont mind me asking who are u insured with?

Thanks. I'm 21 named and just paying 1600. EK9 would of cost me 2800 named. So seems a bit stupid. I blame racer boys!

Gosh your lucky! I'm with auto net insurance, found them through confused.com after trying many companies.

Tell me about it! I am well angry that insurance companies don't know what they sell! They should know what car is what! I hope they read this and get their acts together because a lot of people are loosing out.
But like this would make a difference! lol

I'm 21 and iv got a ek9 got insurance easy with 2 years no clam 3 points for £1500 thru Adrian flux.

Sure will do. Had a word with the Honda salesman and told him I couldn't wait, so he is now going to give me just one day earlier. I still can't sleep.

Previously just had a fiesta 1.2 freestyle and then a MK2 Focus TDCi sport 115. This is my third car. Tried many companies for insurance but I finally went with Swinton Insurance who gave £1500 quote. My second best quote was $2400 through moneysupermarket.com. I'm guessing its my area...Birmingham.
