My Nurburgring trip 2012

So just got back from a weekend at the ring and well what can I say it was awesome, this is the second time ive been and had just as much fun.

Went with a few mates in a mixture of cars fn2,vr6,clio 172.

fitted this on the ferry

Was very wet on the Saturday and a bit damp still on the Sunday but got a few good laps in and had fun over taking a few more powerful cars in the wet ha.

Lots of nice car all around the ring and its car park, here are but just a few.

This is me on board the clio 172 while going past this

Only problem we really had was the fn2 tire letting go on track but had a spare so was all good

then time to go home

yes that things quick done a 14.7 down santapod this year my clio 172 at the time did 16s lol

Yer Clio 172 are quick cars on track. The Nurburg ring has some epic straights surely the Vr6 caught you on those.

VR6's are big slow tub's for what they are I experienced on track, and the guy in the 172 must have been able to drive.

Really need to get to the ring!

This was my 1st time on track with a honda/vtec so took it a bit easy and missed a few gears/wasent in vtec but yes the clio driver is very good always beats me at karting lol


vr6 is not any faster in a straight line really even tho its a 2.8 v6 lol

I had a vr6 in the past and it went well, wouldn't be surprised to see one level with a 9 in a drag.
