Just thought i'd post up what i used to drive.

It was a 1998 Fiat Punto 1.4 GT3, with some extensive rebuild work carried out by Noble Motorsports in Chesterfield

Heres the spec before the car sold

Overbored Block with 80.9mm pistons 1390cc 8valve SOHC Fiat engine.
GT2554R roller bearing turbo
DR EVIL 2.5inch elbow, downpipe onto a custom powerflow 2.5inch straight through exhaust with decat and middle box replacement pipe, to back box with chrome tipped 3inch exhaust.

Kent Fast Road Cam, Fitted at Noble Motorsport in April ’08 after the dreaded cam wear hit me.

50mm Stainless steel lower boost pipes
THS-001 intercooler
Bonalume Chrome Boost Pipe
Baileys DV26 Dump Valve in Silver

Seb4 chip, new in Jan.
FSE fuel regulator new with fuel pump
270cc injectors
255litre-per-hour Walboro fuel pump new with reciept
BCPR7ETs
Magnecor 8.5mm competition HT leads

It Rolling roaded at 209 BHP with just shy of 200ftLb of torque, it was a very fast car in a straight line, ran a 1/4mile at 14.3, definately felt quicker than my 9 due to the torque, the problem was the Punto didn't do corners!!!!!

Here are a few pictures of the car over the years i owned it:

I always wanted one of those but after my UNO turbo I decided against it!
Was the leather STD
I bet the ek9 feels a bit sluggish compared but I suppose the ek9 handling makes up for it somewhat, but they still need a turbo to make them quick enough IMO

The leather was apparently an opt extra @£1200, i bought my previous GT because it had this interior, then when i got the one pictured i swapped all the best bits over lol.

Yeh in a straight line it was very quick, felt a lot quicker than the 9, although the corner capabilities were ZERO. It was a shopping car/town car with a turbo engine compared to a track based civic

I drove a 85sx as my first motor, it was a killer amoungst my mates. 1.2 16v 86bhp!! Was great as a 17yr old to embarass 1.6/2.0 and when they asked to say its a 1.2!!

It was between a gt conversion or a civic for me. Glad i got a civic though.

Youve deffinatley got some balls putting that much power in a punto, i know thay arent he most reliable of things.

I have a mate who builts crazy fiats, curently got a panda 100hp+ thing, which he has madea a turbo kit for, runs about 200hp and has a 4" exit out of the front bumper lol.

Nice punto though, like the willwoods :)

Yeh i'm a big believer in the standard sport trim of a car, never been one for big wings, neons and chavvy exhausts etc

I've heard my old car is now 249bhp!! Some videos on youtube of it keep up with an M3 V8!

Here in Greece they fit in Punto's Integrale Evo engines and AWD and Fiat Coupe's 20V V5 engines :p
