My previous R33 GTR, RX7 & my current Civic facelift


sweet cars mate, always loved RX7's!! my mates 700bhp rx-7 is the fastest car i will probably ever get a shot in!!!!!
 
RX-7 is awesome :drool: GTR isn't bad either, nice history!

Good luck with the 1.4 Civic, they're very reliable cars but maybe an EK3 (1.5 vtec-e) would've been better if you travel long distances.
 
Nice cars! The 1.4i SE is a "Special Edition" and its basically a normal EJ9 (D14Z2 1.4 90hp) but with all the extras possible for EJ9's as standard.. all electrics.. and most importantly, the combo which you cannot find in any other EJ9 as standard.. Sunroof, A/C, and ABS! :)

erm, i don't have a sunroof, but i have A/C. Maybe if you have A/C you don't get sunroof. not sure

Wierd, I know non SE models mostly came in EITHER A/C or sunroof but I never heard of an SE with one of them missing, can you confirm you have ABS?

I went on moneysupermarket.com and put my reg in and it picked it up as Fusion or Initial, i'm guess the seller made a mistake when advertising this car and i'm guessing mine is a Fusion as it has Electric Windows and A/C.

How do i check if i have ABS or not?

From what I know, only the SE models had ABS as standard.. I'm not entirely sure on how to check for it properly(im sure somebody else on the forum can assist you with that) but if you turn the ignition on, if you have ABS, a yellow ABS light will come on for a few seconds.

Ever had to slam on the brakes fully? Did they lock up?

I have turn on my ignition and the dash board is not showing any ABS light so i guess it's definitely not an SE, it could well be a 1.4 Fusion, thanks for helping find out what my car model really is:nice:

ABS unit is under the bonnet down on the left hand side at the back of the bay, its rectangular with lots of brake pipes coming out of it.
