Hi all,

Currently drive a Nissan Skyline (R33 GTS-T). Will be looking for an EK9 in October as I'll be needing something a little less thirsty. Thought I'd post some pictures of her:

Where you from mate as that white skyline used to belong to a mate of mine(chris):) I used to drive a R32 GTR and now have an EK9. You won,t be dissapointed:D

I'm from Kimpton (about 15 minutes from Stevenage). It used to belong to my friend Lee - he swapped his Lexus Celsior for the R33. Lee swapped the R33 for an R32 GTS-T about a fortnight ago. The R33 has now made its way over to Ireland.

Did you not feel a bit of a loss of power coming from the GTR to the EK9? What are you're thoughts between the 2?

I met lee at one of the skyline meets, nice bloke.:) Coming from the GTR to the EK9 I can say the Ek is more fun to thrash round country lanes where the skyline was best on smooth roads. Yes i dropped over 100 bhp in power from the skyline but the Ek is still a quick little car. There are so many decent country roads to drive on round me that I couldn,t use the skyline to it,s full ability. Yes it was a great car but with a wedding coming up I needed something a bit cheaper to run and maintain.

Yes I was looking to trade my ek9 for a r32 gtr but couldn't justify running costs and practicality ek9 has a lovely boot you can put anything in it almost

R32GTR has a big boot too, can be quite costly to run though. Id suggest moving up from a Honda to a Scooby or Evo or similar before an R32 GTR, they are a nice inbetween for maintenance, running costs and performance.
