i used toyo ra-1 in the front and azenis 615 in the rear. my spring rates are roughly 500lbs in the front and 600lbs in the rear. those spring rates felt soft for the track, but my car is a street car and not a full on dedicated track car, so i need to keep them soft for passengers and daily commute and such

wow, ra1's are kinda out dated compared to some of the stuff thats out now, try and get some nitto nt01's next, there cheaper and better!! i rock them daily!

oh really? i'll keep that in mind. this is my frirst set of any r compound. i had a super sweet deal since they are spec miata tires, so they were super cheap. i'll try out some of the other ones once these are gone.
 
yeah nitto nt01 is excellent, toyo also has a new R compound tire out for 07, its supposed to be reallly badass.
