No matter what people say about the color for yellow Ek9's , i just loove them !

Finally ! After months of trying to source one of these beautys it landed in from america, & at a price as close as possible to the tegiwa 4-2-1 i'm delighted. It's all going off for work at the weekend, along with my helix racing clutch plate it'll be ready for some dragging i no time :)

A few 'minor' updates. After alot of waiting and money spent i got my vibrant 4-2-1 manifold from the states.

Gave the bay a quick rub down earlier.

The lights got a wet sand & T-cut not too long back. the pictures do them no justice.

Fitted a set of energy suspension engine mount inserts also as the old mounts were dead an was recommended to upgrade. There a great compromise between solid mounts and standard. Very little vibration travels up through the body.

Also picked up a helix racing clutch for drag events an the grip off it is superb. Not so great for traffic but it's worth it. It was fitted along with a lightened flywheel!

Astectics next in the bay with a set of hood dampers. ten minute job fitting them.

Replaced the old tired set of decals with a set of aftermarket ones until i can afford a set of oem.

Picked up a set of ctr wheels in need of a refurb also as i'm undecided on the 98 spec ukdm wheels at the moment.

Don't know which window your referring to but the rear three are tinted, oem spec. Agreed the 98 specs would look better in champ white but ill refurb the ctr's first. Think the look of the 98's would be dramatically changed if i got it lowered but coilovers are on the waiting list. Brakes badly need an upgrade at the minute, there struggling with the power :angry:
 
Not much of an update here. Picked up a set of next to mint recaros last night for it. They came on dc2 rails but i'm swapping them for a set of ek9 ones. Fancy a changer from the spoon rails for a while.

Swapped out the mugen cluster for a ctr one.
Also picked up a rear hub also as the rearing was on it's way out.

That is one stunning 9! Love the yellow! Those seats are like new! Black OEM Rims look really good!

Sold on those black oem rims since, i think i've a good set of jap alloys sorted for underneath it now though. Updates soon :nice:
 
Those are the cleanest recaro's I've ever seen! Jammy git! Lol.

What you doing with your old recaro's? I'm after a very clean passenger seat if your selling?

Same here, paid pretty strong money but i think there worth it. The recaros in it at the minute aren't in the best condition, hence why i bough more. The outside bolster on each has failed along with a fag burn on each. :nono:
 
Nice car mate. Best colour to :). What have you done with the mugen clocks?

Still could be interested mate, particulary the passenger one as I'm looking at making a mint one out of 2 average ones if you get what I mean.

If you decide to sell it could you get me a pic of it so I can see how it is?

On the other side of things picked up a pretty nice set of jdm rims this evening. The height of the car needs to be adjusted to suit but that'll have to wait till i get a set of coilovers.. But until then ye can all wait for pictures :clap:
