Southern__sun aka william yip from glasgow............

i advertised in the wanted section and he pm'd me regarding an aem v2 for a b16 ek4 saying he had one in "good condition" only done 3k.......... long story short i paid via paypal (gift....i know this is my mistake) the sum of £180 posted.

recieved the kit this morning and the condition is as shown..

yeah i know it was a school boy error but i have brought lots off people on here and civiclife and all of them have been pleasant transactions.I was in a little bit of a rush as i wanted it before the bank holiday.....bigger fool me. 99.9% of people on here aren't robbing bastards and are genuine folk and have taken the piss with my good nature well never again but wse live and learn just want to warn others so they don't get bitten too.

THE ROTTEN EGGS SHOULD BE DISCARDED!

here is the message he sent me regarding the sale of his aem

"i have one for sale , for ek and braket modified to fit d series gearbox , used for 3000miles good condition , slight scuffs from removal , all original aem fittings included. located in glasgow, £200 ono. inc delivery to uk mainland

i also assumed as he was wanting "good" money for the kit it would be in a good state once again i know i could have prevented this with the use of some noggin and some common sense but far too trusting.

any who if i had bit the bullet and paid another £70 i could have had a shiny new one........oh captain hindsight!
 
That is proper shocking; there's no way somebody can justify that as an *honest* mistake.

As said above some people have no shame. :angry:

Exactly, sorry to be blunt but people need to be wiser and not allow themselves to end up in situations like this.
 
I agree totally I should have got pics etc but I will definitely learn from this mistake!

Yeah I have pm'd and I understand that I did the noob on my part I was more than aware of the risks just warning people of dishonest peeps and have contacted him in 2 forms but no reply :-(
