need for speed pro street

ya i cant wait either gettin it for my ps3....the ek9 an integra are in it????????????????????????????????

I saw an AE86. HELL YEAH!!! That's so gonna be my drift car when I get the game. This is gonna be on the PC too right?

Can ya tell I'm an Initial D fan?

Finally got my copy. Some thing are cool, some are annoying, but so far, better than Underground and about a billion times better than Underground 2. I'm a little disappointed in the Civic though. They got the USDM EJ6 with the crappy D16Y7 motor. No motor swaps or anything either. Weak. Also, it's kinda messed up that a KA-T in an S13 is only pushin 156HP. I know a KA-T easily makes more power than my B16. What's even more amazing is that in the hardest game mode with all the assistance turned off (except ABS), my little 156HP KA-T S13 is beating 400+ HP Muscle cars and other vehicles. Yeah I know they can't handle for **** but in the straights they should be kickin my ass.

So far it's fun, works great with a racing wheel (much unlike previous NFS's excluding Porsche Unleashed), but far too easy.

Right now I've got my S13 painted dark metallic blue with a mostly stock exterior (I got some carbon wing and I only put in on there for aerodynamics which is a load anyway). I'm rockin dark red Volk TE37's but I'm bout to repaint them bronze like the real thing is usually. I've got a Civic hatch but it's my drag car. My grip car is the S13 (which is totally backwards) and my drift car is an AE86.

New line-up for me. No Hondas though :( . My Civic wasn't hacking it as a Drag car any more. My new line-up:

Grip:
S15 Sylvia - 435(ish)BHP (this car is stupid fast and hard to control)
Drag:
Z33 350Z - 376BHP (ok this game is unrealistic, this thing actually did under 11 seconds in the quarter, 700HP Supras can't do that)
Drift:
AE86 Corolla GT-S - 118BHP (bone friggin stock)

lol i started out with the civic hatch as a grip it actually pulls its weight with all stage 2 mods in it..but it tops out too soon at like 150 or so. I used the itr for my strip until i couldnt get it under 13 seconds so i swapped over to a gt500 and im unbeatable in it..even online, but i sold everything and have only an evox for grip and evo mr for top speed and the g35 for drifting..which i need to get rid of for something more powerful..

Changed my line-up

Grip:
R34 Nissan Skyline - 740HP. AWD all the way for grip, no wheel spin and instant take off on the start. Made the game so much easier switchin from RWD to AWD for grip.

Drag:
Mk.4 Toyota Supra -844HP. Sombitch is poppin wheelies on the launch now. Comes in under 9 seconds.

Drift:
S15 Nissan Silvia - 327HP. My old grip car but puts out less power in drift mode. I don't like the way it handles sometimes so I may replace it.

Speed Challenge:
FD Mazda RX-7 - 704HP. need to replace but dumped too much money in it to replace it now. It's fast but maxes at 215MPH too easily with 5th gear as wide as possible. It easily passes all the cars at the beginning but bounces off the rev limiter constantly later on. I feel that on later stages, it's not gonna be fast enough.

Who all plays the game with a wheel? I do albeit a busted one (force feedback and centering motor broke). I plan to buy a Logitech G25 when I get money for one. Only wheel on the market with a real 6-speed H pattern shifter and a clutch.

techy did you play juiced 2? most forums are saying that it totally thrashes pro street. so far I only played pro street as a demo and personally I didn't like it a bit. you know what is funny though. pro STREET in the TRACK. doesn't make sense lol

No haven't played Juiced 2 mostly cause of I heard the first sucked total ass and it's also not on the PC which automatically counts it out for me. Many tracks on Pro Street are actually on the street but are on blocked off streets in legally sanctioned races. They talk about getting permits to race in different areas in the commentary form the MC's.

Really what I want is a more realistic Gran Turismo type game for the PC. The closest so far is ToCA Race Driver 3 (which I have yet to get). It's a far more realistic game but it's limited to more pro type racing such as German DTM, Australian V8 super cars, Grand Touring, Le Mans and such. Plus I don't think there is buying and upgrading of cars in the game. I want someone to come up with an updateable game that has thousands of licensed vehicles with available modifications of all kinds, a day counting system, a parts ordering/purchasing system (a fake internet ordering thing or travel to a shop in the game and purchase parts), parts installation system, damage/repair system, fuel system, and basically just an overall realistic game. I also want it to have races like we see videos of the EK9's all the time. Few cars on a real trakc witha few laps and the cars could be street legal.

well techy there is a game like that, but the cars in it depend on other developers. rFactor is pretty much the best simulator game there is and there are loads of different tracks and vehicles, with customizable skins. check it out. This game isn't about the graphics but about the feel of the car.

If you like rallying, there is no better than Dirt. I have it myself and it has the best graphics I have ever seen in a racing game. The feel of it is also good. I'm hooked on it.

I know about DiRT. I have it's predecessor, Colin McRae Rally 2005. I'll look into rFactor.

if u have a 360 im in love with FORZA 2 so much better that any gran turismo game out there so much more customization its not even funny. And i finally beat ryo in Pro street got my achievement for it, im like 95 percent done with the game and my file gets corrupt which blows. I dont think im going to restart it but its pretty bad that I got that far and I cant finish. At least if i do restart I know what cars to go after and not waste my time on crap cars

Yeah, I've been going through different speed challenge cars like crazy. I know that the Nissan GT-R (R35) and Toyota Supra both suck for that. GT-R is too slow and the Supra is too unstable and the acceleration is kinda slow. I miss my RX-7 that was my first speed car. My current one is a WRX STI. It has much quicker acceleration than my GT-R and Supra and is far more stable than the Supra. It also has a 6th gear giving it a higher potential top speed than the 5 speed RX-7. Also, it's just mean sounding. :D Unfortunately, I don't quite have the cash to max out the STI yet which is why I miss my RX-7. My RX-7 was maxed. My STI still has a higher top speed though but not quite the same acceleration yet.

Now the R34 Skyline GT-R is a great grip car and the Supra is perfect for drag. My S15 is doing OK for drift but some things about it bug me so I may try another car soon.

OK, the game is startin to piss me off immensely. I sold my 322HP S15 and bought a Mustang GT500 and modded it to make 726HP and used it to drift. That car was unbelievably slow and couldn't drift for ****. I sold it (for about 1/4 I put into it) and bought the car I originally drifted with. An AE86. It's only puttin out 126HP and no suspension mods yet and the standard tires and it drifts better than both the S15 and the GT500. Now my STI is pissin me off too cause the last level I tried to run it on, it wouldn't stay stable and was going so damn slow. I'm pretty much quitting the game right now. I'm gonna wait until I build my new rig to play it anymore. It doesn't run that well on my PC right now.
