Hi guys im in need of some good advice or help..

Im currently ditto g some coilovers to my ej9, fitted the fronts fine.
I'm now doing the rears but ive sheared the bolt that mounts the lower arm to the strut. Its sheared in the hole, and the other side won't come loose.

I can't get it out, and have basic tools... No heat guns or welders, or reverse drillbits, or tap and die kits... And ive already soaked it in wd40...

how do I get it out?

Or does anyone know of someone or company that would come and get it out for me? Im near slough and haven't got hundreds to play with, and im supposed to be at work at 5.30... :nerv::please:

Easiest option.... get new LCA's.

Cheapest option..... Drill out the sheared bolt, cobalt drills are your best bet or you'll be there for a while.

^^^^this, i did mine recently and all the bolts were seized in the bushes,i had too drill all of them out.took ages and f*#%ed me right off, good luck

grinder or oldskool hacksaw!!cut off nut on the shock that hold it in get a punch and hammer out the bolt :) takes some force but thats how i got my mates seized one out

If you get really stuck i have some second hand aftermarket LCA and am just off of J12 M4
Dunx

Buy yourself a £20 grinder it won't be the last time you will need if if you working at your car..lol honestly grind the bolts you will probs have to cut through the lower control arm but it's the easiest way...

penetrating oil and a thin wire brush the day before you plan on taking the bolts out can work wonders. also actually tightening it very slightly first too.
