**need help with ek9 power folding mirror**

I'll appreciate all the help you guys can give me..................
On to the problem i have a set of ek9 power folding mirrors and they have been working perfect until last month they sounds like there getting stuck while closing and opening i have to help them out with a nudge. I've tried the blasting wd-40 and nothing...please let me know if there's anything else i can do to have the mirrors working like before. Thanks in advanced.

try spraying some wd-40 inside the motor. if your confident enough to open the mirrors inside and inspec the motors

yeah more than likely wd40 will sort it out

I had this same issue with my passo mirror...........bit of WD40 sorted it for me

had this problem with my 1st ek9, no matter how much silicone grease i used it still stuck. Striped it down and found that the motor was faulty so just bought another one (

na sorry meant i replaced the whole unit as i got one for £70 from tegiwa and was selling the car at the time so wanted a quick fix but not hard to change the motor though if you have the patience

pull the mirror out beyond were it normally sits and then push the button to retract them. it should sort itself out from there. worked on mine but that could've been a fluke!
