Need some Advice on Issue

Cool, make sure you have at least x2 10an hoses going to the can (thats around 1/2" ID)

I notice some of the oil catch tanks have a breather filter on top and some dont, can someone explain ?
Thanks

That could help, but if he's just reving it up on the spot there should be hardly any blowby (crankcase pressure) what so ever really... Its when you put load on the engine it starts causing problems normally.

...you are correct sir!

There are many types of breathers by many makers/companies. You need to decide if you want to recycle the oil vapors back into your engine oil or not. I have elected to not recycle my oil vapor/sludge back into the engine; I need to empty my catch can out periodically...but its a track car. You can recycle the sludge back into your engine if you like or not...personal preference.

Here is a good example from Z10: Note the 2 -10AN fittings, good for breathing. [$170 USD]

I think your mixed up on this. That test is to test the cylinder leakage. Not crankcase pressure.

Rich?,how do you test for crank case pressure ?
Going to get the leak down test done this coming saturday
