NEED Temp cover ASAP!

hey guys iv bought a ek9 type r i need my bro to insure it for 1-2 days hes 19 years no claims held it for 2 years and cant seem to get temp cover... any places that can do imports etc for him? i might just ring around!
 
It's hard to get temporary cover on any import/performance cars,

You will need to ring around specialist company's, you won't get a good quote online

Performance cars arnt to hard to insure, its modified when you have problems. I got pretty much the whole way to paying before it told me that the car had to be completely standard lol So just watch out
Are you not 3rd party through other insurance
 
If he's currently insured on a car get him to phone his insurance company and tell them hes viewing a car with intent to buy. Ask if you can have your policy swapped over to the ek9 (they generally won't take payment straight away) . Get the car drive it home , call back the insurance company and tell them you wana swap it back 9/10 there is no charge due to the change of cover only being 48 hrs .
 
thanks alot mark! that makes alot of sence i will deffo try that! its only for 1day but i Might need him to drive it every few weeks as i got 7 months ban left..
