Been breaking my ek9 and the shell is now ready to be scrapped.
My grandad rang me yesterday saying he got bored and he's prepared the car for the scrap man to collect,
Here is what he'd done


He said he quite enjoyed himself (he's 68) lol
 
Yeah but unfortunately these things happen. Got a new one and going to keep the vin plate from my old one hanging from the rear veiw mirror.

They certainly do! My old one is sitting right next to me :)
 
Started doing the scrap yards job for them there! Lol!

Sad end for a great car but never mind, life goes on. What was up with it?
 
Yep mx5 span infront of me and I hit him, **** happens I'll be back out there soon enough!

Nah that was knackered. Hit the rear quarter and just caught the rear of the door. Managed to mangle it still
 
Yep. The car had been in a massive accident before anyway.
Somehow this detail got "missed" by two forum members on here and I happened to find it. Drivers door had been pulled back straight on a jig and a small section of the floor either replaced or mullered back into shape.
They'd left the jig marks on the door frame.
 
If your on about me the car had no damage whatsoever. Car was checked inside and out and engine was triple checked before purchase. Out of both my 9s this was the best. Only reason I didnt keep it was my plans to turbo charge my other one
 
Lol wasn't aimed soley at you, you may not have known and it came into the country like this? Previous owner swears he knew nothing either (obviously)
From the outside the car looked great, you'd never know it's only because I took the plastics off the door frame and had the carpet it up that I noticed.
Either way was still an epic car and hadn't lost any of its stiffness etc.

Forgot to mention when I crashed it a good 1mm+ of filler came flying out the passenger rear quarter, obviously someone's banger racer or something lol
