Hello everyone - just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.

My name's Marc and I'm soon to be the owner of an EK9 race base model which I've purchased off Daz from DNR/Endless Horizon.

The car does have some history and is probably known on here, it's been in a CAT C accident around 4-5 years ago however I do know some of the history of the car as it used to belong to D2 Tex on the CRX UK forum, and someone else after that and now Daz who has a great reputation in the UK Honda community.

I currently own a CRX VT which is going in as part-ex against the EK9 which I'm going to miss massively :(

The EK9 is having a B20 engine fitted as well as some other work done. Daz had bought the car pretty much as rolling shell with the plan to use it as a track car however he's concentrating on racing his K20 Civic I believe so he's decided to sell it.

I should have the car in a week or two so will post some pics up on here once I get it.

Really looking forward to getting it as they are supposed to be a cracking car and I'm happy to be staying in the Honda family too! :))

There's some pics of the old bird on the link below. I was trying to look for an EK9 a few years back on here, apologies that the photos aren't too good.

She's been a great car but I'm spending too much on it and things keep going wrong with it. Needs new sills and some other rust issues addressing and when the EK9 came along it was too good to resist.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Yeah looking forward to getting it, the B20 should give it a bit more poke. It's a B20B bottom end I think with an ITR head so will have the head, springs, valves and retainers off the ITR, new seats and guides etc.

Daz believes it should be circa 200 - 210 bhp so I'd be more than happy with that. Was contemplating getting a B20 in the CRX at some point but didn't want to keep spending on it.
