Evening all. Just thought I'd introduce my self as a new 9 owner.. I've had a few different cars over the last couple of years including some powerful jap turbo stuff.....but never really gelled with anything since I sold my mk2 CRX. So after selling my Impreza Type R recently I started the hunt for a Honda. Tahirs EF9 came up for sale locally and I viewed it twice.....came very close to buying but unfortunately we couldn't quite agree on price. Anyone after a mint EF9 should check this out, it's a great car.

So the search continued then came across this immaculate EK9 for sale (markp's off here). Always fancied a 9 so train ticket booked to Scotland and bought it on the spot.

1998 EK9 type R. No rust, no real defects, mint Recaro's etc. Some mild mods, Bc coilovers with full geosetup, mugen manifold and mugen twinloop exhaust. It handles like nothing I've driven, far better than the integras I've had even. The b16b Is a right laugh in vtec but more capacity will be on the horizon at somepoint....b18/B20 not sure yet. Feels good to be back! Excuse the crappy phone pics will get some decent ones at somepoint.

Mark is a good friend of mine :) you have got yourself the cleanest 9 I have ever seen in person to be honest! Take care of her :D !!!

It will be looked after....it's garaged and only used as a second car. Need to sort the exhaust out its making a nasty buzzing noise around 4k revs and on overrun. Hopefully the baffles haven't gone in the twinloop, need to have a poke around when I get chance.

Get a spec2 no baffles, nothing to worry about just sheer noise haha

Not really into really loud exhausts. I like to get on track a few times a year too so have noise limits to consider!

The twin loop backbox has a custom unsilenced centre section which doesn't look the best. Think I'll look to replace that with a silenced one
