The Honda Civic Type-R has surfaced on an official photo. In a Polish ad for the Civic, the ordinary Civic and Civic Tourer joined by the top version of the Japanese. Thus, we can already see the car before the official debut in Geneva.
The car is equipped with a nice solid-looking body kit. overallthe car has become considerably wider than the regular Civic and it is equipped with a chin spoiler, side skirts and a large rear spoiler. However, the Type-R is still a lot more modest than the original concept car made us suspect. The wing is less extreme, the car is narrower and led-foglights made way for more conventional ones.
The real feast is in the engine bay of the Type-R. As we have previously reported, the newly developed 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is good for a top speed of 270 km / h with at least 280 hp. At the official unveiling of the Civic, which takes place tonight in Geneva, we get to hear more about the Civic Type-R.
