So the box was built and am currently running in the clutch.
5.46 final drive is :twisted: Sit at 3k revs in 6th doing 50mph so not too bad.
Lsd feels really good aswel. Good improvment over standard.
Needed a new 3rd gear and 3-4 gear sync at the cost of £330.

Yea at double the price aswell, the stainless ones are awesome. Lovin the DC Rascal. Will sound the dogs balls with the J's!
 
Yeah your right the TI ones are nearly double in price and not really worth it I think for a road car as weight difference of a few pounds won't affect me.
Was dear enough lol.
Sounds good can't wait to get my toda mani on so it's louder. Need kpro first.

Kpro will make it :D Yea if i bought the TI one id be scared to drive the car, its so light its scary! Yea ive priced stainless ones before theyre still pricey, i just couldnt get a 3 inch one :( The 5.4 FD will make up for the weight anyway ;)

So brother is taking them for his ep3.

what's the purpose/function of the steering rack raiser?

The general idea behind this piece is to raise the location in which the steering arms connect to the steering rack. The raise in connection height reduces the angle at which the steering arm sits. No longer will you have an extreme upwards V shape. This helps eliminate the bump steer that is associated with dropped cars.
 
ok, so its usually for cars that have been lowered from standard height
