Nicole's turbo black ek9

Are you getting valve guides Nicole? I measured mine last night on my project engine and they are wellll over spec for wobble.

The valves stems are fine. I won't change them.

Tbh I never checked them and have left them. Engine showed no signs of worn guides and they felt tight :)

Finished my gearbox, not done the bits I wont be able to get to in the bay for keeping ontop of the shine, possibly going to paint these as you cant see them on the car. Nighttime photos dont really do it justice :(

can see the lovely shiny underseal hes used to do all under the crash bar/rad support at the front :D

and then started on the lines, hole drilled in the bulkhead and a rivnut in meant I could mount the bias valve really low down out the way. doing these lines is definitely a labour of love. quite proud how they've come out :) still got the rear ones to do and one more from the master cylinder - then clips and separators to secure them all. the fuel line will be cut and then I'll relocate that fuel filter down too.
I have a full outfit underneath my dirty stuff, fat little muchkin ha

Looking good :D braided lines are always good. I have Goodridge lines.

I want to tidy my bay up. Thought about going to a sprayer but might just break out the rattle cans perhaps. Also toying with the idea of de-air conning it...

Keep it up :)

Will be a feature car when it's done for sure! This time next year it's on the cover of banzai or something, hopefully with a white one next to it lol

Aye that would be awesome & well deserved.

(With 2 white ones ;) ) haha

Amazing build up. Will look the nuts when it's finished. Just store it don't drive it ;)

I think an ek9.org feature with all these builds would be pretty epic!
should look into it next year :D

not much progress on the car itself, its home and back in the garage but been so busy with toddler/work/uni/christmas, plus its cold lol :p

got my sump back with tegiwa baffles and the fittings for gauge and oil return :) needs painted still mind
