I have a 91 integra with a jdm b18c swapped all stock with the p72 ecu stock. the car runs like a champ until it is fully warmed up or after driving for a while. then it will just feel like it doesn't want to move no matter what rpm i'm at and takes forever to pick up speed. i have the rywire obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and have no fault codes other than the code 20 eld. i have tried switching wires around on the 02 sensor to see if it was the culpret and it is still doing the exact same thing. i also just replaced the fuel filter. and it has a "new" complete distrubutor, wires, and plugs. but it did all sit for a little over a year before i got it running while i was in afghanistan. Any help or advice would be much appreciated and i'll try anything really. thanks again.

I am going with timing. Perhaps your mechanical timing is off, hopefully not. Try pushing the distributor towards the firewall to advance the timing, it's worth a shot.

-That is just adjusting electrical timing, left that part out hah!-

the temp sensor is what i would be looking at if it runs grand cold then not when its warm. confusing all the same as it is usually the other way around. it is probably bumping too much petrol in when its warm and so struggles, clean the iacv too. that thing seems to screw with everything when it isnt working

i think it might be your dizzy as thats the issue i had with one of my engines

I just remembered some stuff that i should probably add. The car has been running for about 5 months now and i don't recall any issues like this since i got it going. i first started noticing it after i had a pinhole leak in one of the heater hoses from the engine. i cut the end of the hose off and put it back on and bled the coolant but i didn't spend a whole lot of time on it like i did on the initial. if there is air pockets in it will it cause this.

more elaborate symptoms... just noticing on day by day. if the weather is cool outside like in the morning on my way to work or at night it runs fine no matter how long i'm driving. it's in traffic and in the evening heat where it just runs worse and worse. Making me feel like i need to bleed it more. i am going to do this in the morning but just wanted to add that. Thanks again for the help and i'll look in to it all in the morning.

Hi...did you ever find out what was causing this?? My car (that I just bought) is doing the same exact thing and it is driivng me crazy...literally!
