Noisey trannsmission


What sort of noise is it making? Are you sure its the transmission.

When was the fluid last changed?

No but seriously, might have to give a bit more info in the noise itself.

It could be release bearing, one of the shafts etc etc.

When you had the box fitted did you replace the release bearing for the clutch?
I know the gearbox he's talking about and have actually driven on it. Only noise you'll hear from that box is the release bearing, which isn't even the gearbox lol
Other than the minor gear selection issue it had the box was sweet.
 
Its not the release bearing got a new clutch and release bearing, its defo from in the box id say its a main shaft bearing just had new fluid too. Was just wandering cos someone said that you can get stuff to put in it to quiet'n it down but was'nt sure if he's right or not.
