Nurburging advice!

Me and a couple of mates could potentially be heading to the much revered 'ring at some point during the summer!
Has anyone got any pointers, I.e prep for the car and myself?
And also is it as good as it's made out to be?

If you used the search function, there is a CRACKING post about this already detailing what you'll need to take to stay legal, what spares you'll need, what sorta money you'd be looking at, where to stay, where to eat, how to plan it, which places to stop by etc etc etc.

And you get to make new friends NOT ON THE INTERNET (its weird)
 
The thing with the nurb is that, if you do it, you'll come back and think "damn... that was the best drive of my life... but.." and then you start buying parts. Before you know it you've loaned out your granny and sold a kidney but hey, you're running boost, your car is stripped and you've booked another nurb trip. It's worth it big time!
 
Haha fantastic lads, cheers! Gutted, I would be missing out on the ek9 ring trip due to my work.

As in having to talk to people and not type... That's a strange concept:nerv:
 
Haha well either way, I'm sure you'll have an absolute blast mate. Just remember that it's an experience, not a full on race. The last thing you want is to incur heavy costs from having a spill or breaking one of the rules. The ring is heavily guarded (dirty minds stay away LOL) so any mishaps WILL be noticed.
 
yeah, ill be keeping that in mind! the "crash menu" is an expensive affair :(

Nurburgring friend!

As above, it's better. I went for the 2nd time last year and forgot how epic the track is until my first lap.
It's not just the track either really, petrol heads everywhere,cars everywhere.
