As title,

Im going to be to be doing a B18C swap very soon, engine is from a 1998 ITR and i have a 98 pre-facelift EK9,

After asking Will, he kindly explained that 98 ITR ECU wouldnt fit my wiring look....

Sooooo,

I need a conversion harness so i can use the ITR ECU,

Where can i source one of these??

NOTE: I have found a couple of sites just need it quick, preferbly in the UK.... Recommendations..

I really dont wana order this off american Company as it could take ages!

Has anyone got one for sale or know where i could get one off a UK site?

I couldnt seem to find one on google?

Stop asking Will questions as he doesnt know what he's talking about. Pre facelift Ek9s are OBD2a. All ITRs (inc all JDM models) are OBD2a. Only the facelift 99-00 EK9's are OBD2B, so you dont need any conversion harness, the engine will drop straight in and plug straight into all your original wiring/plugs, as will the ITR ECU.
 
errrrrmmm..........

I now have two people that have told me the opposite??

Can some others please confirm as i will be bluming pissed if the conversion is all done ready to go and the ECU does not fit :(
 
I absolutely guarantee you that your early spec EK9 and all ITRs are OBD2a. Only 99-00 (facelifted EK9s) were OBD2B, so if its definitely an ITR engine and your car is definitely a pre-facelift EK9 then you catagorically undeniably absolutely do NOT need a conversion harness as the ITR ECU will plug straight into your car. I will give you £1000 if i'm wrong!!!!!

yep!! he is right!!! i have 99 Ek9, its OBD2b, i tried to run a spoon computer, but it was OBD2a. your harness is good to go.

@i-vtec, Well it is for sale but i have a deal ive been offered which im very interested in involving a P/X, so for now it is already "provisionally" sold.

If the deal falls through for any reason i will let you know dude.........
