I drove this morning to work fine. Getting off work, just as i let the clutch go, i felt the car hesitant to advance... I let the clutch just a bit more and the car goes. Something wasn`t right. I have an ACT clutch kit which is 15%-20% heavier than OE pedal feel. First thing i noticed is that pedal feel is too light. Second bite is sissy, and shifting although is easy through all gears doesn`t have the kick when letting the clutch go. Then pedal must be fully released for the car to advance, and if i try to slip it or put it neutral and keep the clutch where it engages i feel a vibration in the frequency of my idle. Also a whinning noise in neutral as well in gear with car moving or stationary that goes away when i press down the pedal. This made me think of release bearing, but when i turn the ignition off pedal feel goes back to normal feel (hard).

Any thoughts on what it might be?:please:

Cheers for the swift reply mate! What worries most, until i determine the cause, is the possibility of failure and beeing stranded on the road. garage is quite far from where i live, and there`s a 48 hour strike on public transportation, starting tomorrow.

Dropped the car off at the garage earlier today. Will now for sure tomorrow morning. fingers crossed it`s not my clutch.

I've just put a new clutch in got no pressure on the clutch pedal I have the took the calipers away from discs does it work of the same servo as the brakes..
