oem or spoon??


Just fitted oem suspension and rear lcas back onto my ek9, I had got used to the coilovers that were on it but now I am oem suspension I don't think I could ever go back.

Oem ek9 suspension is awesome!

Mugen 5ways seem like they would be right up your street!

Have them in my DC2, Awesome for B'roads and the commute, nice and comfortable yet give you great confidence.

However, a bit soft for the track for me. I couldn't myself to sell them though even when I replace them.

Track oriented suspension is always going to be too hard for road use. You will bounce wheels into the air on the road = no grip. While road suspension on track will be suboptimal in body roll.

I have had coilovers earlier on too but I kept my DC2 on stock suspension, I felt it was the optimal road setup.
 
The coilovers that were on it were the real cheap ones ta technix/hottuning etc and yep they like to bounce!

I can notice a bit more body roll but in a good way.
