hi guys with my b18c swam i noticed something i have asked some friends with same motor and they tell me that all b18c are burning some oil quantity and they refill some times, in my motor i always refill 1 litre every month , when i hit vtec in consumes oil !!!! even my friends that are behind me they can see my exhaust in white fumes and it smells inside the cockpit also , is this natural ? xD

Yep mine too, its a common problem. Just keep the oil topped up.

First: 1 Litre every month doesn`t mean anything, because somebody makes 1000 miles/month, other 3000 miles/month,...etc
You have to know exact figure of Oil it burns on 1000 miles, before doing anything on engine

Second: Changing only valve stem seals probably wouldn`t solve problem...if oil rings are bad it would be still using oil...
scenically - if you block oil atop in motor (new valve stem seals) oil would penetrate more down ( rings)
btw. nobody can you tell where it uses OIL - valve steams or rings...so full rebuild is necessary IF / AFTER you determine that it burns to much oil.

Before rebuild I would try some other OIL Brand / density (10W, 5W)...to reduce oil burning.... cheeper options first....

I bought a ek9 before and it was a bit smokey and ran it on valvoline oil and it cleared up but no enige that is in good condition should use any oil.

well the my mechanic when made the swap changed everything from timing belts to the smallest screw that was missing or was damaged, he just tell me that it is natural the oil burning cz the b18c from the high revolution
it donest have the time to seal so it just burn oil , so far i have run with it total 3500 and i have added 2.8
litres !!!! the oil that i use is eneos 10w x 40

no not in vtec always most klms are in normal speed in about 3000-4000 rpm with 50% throttle !!!!

well it`s approx 0,5 L on 1000 km (650 miles).....it`s not that extremely, but sure it`s not normal...particularly because it`s not in VTEC most of the time...

you should calculate what is the best option for you....
one side - price for Full Rebuild; other - buying barrel of Oil and keep the oil topped up all the time :)

maybe you should try with Castrol Edge Sport 10W-60...some of the my mates here have good experience with lovering oil burning in B engines

My car would burn through 4l of castrol edge in a day or two with semi hard driving. It likes it more than v-power. LOL.

it`s like you said that girl you have met is blond, but can`t remember what size of bubs she have = all blonds have same bubs :D

LOL

do a compression test and a leak down test to see if piston rings are in bad condition.
anyway if your engine lives at 9.000rpms all day its kinda normal...

500ml/1000miles (1600km`s) is a lot especially driving 3500 rpm`s. Though Honda says 500ml-800ml every oil change (circa 8000km`s according their service manual iirc), and taking under consideration an engine that sat around, God knows how long before it was swapped and worked again, then 500ml/1000miles is a lot. As said above best rebuild both top and bottom, otherwise doing on or the other and not both will cause more stress on the other side. What i mean is if you change with new fresh stem seals, you will keep your head sealed tight, adding stress to your old oil rings.

everything has been changed already !!!! maybe i got a thought that since my gearbox is toooooooo short that why :)))) ( theokonto sasman)

my mechanic suggested me to install motul v300 and check if it stil burns cz eneos got sucky the last years !!!!! maybe thats the problem as i think ??? eneos got bad quality and cant handle high temp of revolution and gets burn , today my mechanic drove my car and i just saw a white fume onnly in low rpm and full throttle and no in high rev in 4 gears !!!
