Oil temp help!

Hey, my coolant temp gauge has been giving odd readings recently and i was wondering if this was an indication of a problem. Its running very well, pulls in Vtec and idles fine, but it never seems to heat up. My old civic would heat up in minutes and stay in the middle of the dial all day long. My VTI seems to just get warmish and then slowly go colder again??? Is this normal or is there a problem anyone could think of? My best guess so far is the sensor for reading the temp is loose or faulty? Any ideas?

Replace your thermostat mate - my EK9 did the exact same thing when she came over to the UK, a new thermostat and the temp sits half way, all day. Just as it should....

Cheers guy's. Do you recomend OE ones or are the mugen/spoon ones worth the extra cash? Is this likely to give me problems if i don't sort it quick lol cheers again for the help!

OE will do fine man, may aswell drain the system and replace the coolant wile your at it.
