Ok Was Wondering If Anyone Has Felt A Differents Between Those Two???
Is PASSWORDJDM 3 Point Or Should I Use The Spoon Strut Bar

Strut bars are really only chassis stiffening mods and you won't really be able to feel a difference as the gains would be so minute you might see a difference in time on a track but it wouldn't be much at all! I would just go 2 point strut up front I can't see the 3rd mounting point being strong enough to actually stiffen that much

I went from the OEM bar to the Password 3 point and its soo much better.

Didn't think i would be able to notice it but it does feel sharper on the inital turn in.

Well worth it imo

Thing is with these three point braces is that the third point is bolted to a thin piece of tin with no real strength.

Meaning the contact patch on the actual strut bar? I think its still like 3mm thick steel or better so not that bad.

I haven't personally used one but in theory the PW 3 point should give more rigidity due to the triangulation of the design. Everyone knows triangles are the strongest structured shape, so to have this on top of the 2 points of the struts......it "in theory" has to be better that the spoon.

Weather it is physically noticeable or not..that's another thing.

Spoon strut brace looks cleaner in the bay, I have it and also noticed an improvement after bolt on.

Just put a 3 point on after oem on ek4 made no difference just looks better

Thought as much, I doubt any strut bar will really appear any better than OEM unless your running stiff suspension, sticky tires and driving it hard on track.

I think it will be down to personal preference as for some the difference won't be noticeable.

I had considered the Spoon bar for a while as it does look nice but the password came up and I figured if I am going to buy a 'better' bar why not get one that should be a fair bit stiffer like Ali said above.

I would choose which suits the look your going for the most :nice:
