So far, not a simgle scrap on the header. Clearance is nice, and a lot of carefull driving around speed bumps for sure....

The header is a RMF Narrow Header REPLICA, i bought form a guy on Honda-Tech.

I havent been able to install my SKUNK LCA yet.
 
hi! Could you tell me what is this mount exactly and where it bolts? Is it only for the ek4 /ek9 spec as i don't seem to recall any of that in my ej9

Little update on the car:
Last weekend has the following thins fitted:
SKUNK 2 LCA´s
Russel SS brake lines
Ingalls engine torque
NRG 2.5 QR installed.
Here are the pics.

Gave the car a little polish but havent taken any pics yet.

friend has that header but didnt get to install as sold car, clearence is very good from your pics which is why i told him to buy 1, whats situation when connecting to exhaust ? custom pipe needed or jdm length pipe ?

Clearance is good.
I had the chance to check it yesterday, and has a tiny litle scrape. My car is not so low (riding on eibach pro springs).
In my case it was just bolt on. My car has the cat removed sometime ago, but it just bolted right with no further mods. I had the OEM header before.

I was running the OEM header bolted to the line, and i just unbolted and mounted the new header. When cat was eliminated the pipe that replaced it was made the length to reach and bolt to the header.

i recommended this header to my friend who bought then bought 1, proven design with good ground clearence

i personally run another race header that friend designed with well known manufacturer in u.s but ground clearence is very poor

have you driven your car with the rmf header yet ? cars that run this type of header make very unique sound, nice as different to every other honda that has intake and exhaust bolted on

your car is lookin good, keep up the good work

About the header, no i didnt use any test pipe or anything, just the exhaust pipe was custom welded to another piece of pipe to replace the cat. Its welded to the OEM pipe, to lenghten it to reach the OEM header bolt. The RMF was just blted to the line i had modified previously. (ill try to take a pic on the night or tomorrow).
On the sound, it IS different and nice, i like it. I´m using a spoon N1 exhaust with it, and just love how it sounds....

Remap? with the stock ecu? How do you do that?

However, im going to swap to a AEM EMS, i already have it but no time to go to the tuner......
Fiet it to your friends car and let me know.
Im very happy with it.
 
sorry, didnt read you was still on stock ecu, update us once you get to go to tuner with aem ems
 
Installed a roof rack for carrying surfboards (having to lean back the recaros to get them on passenger side was tedious) and new cruiser bikes for me and wife.... (stil have to get a bike rack.....
