Where I work there a police meeting lasts a few days and they talk about the Scottish police force n blah blah blah but also talk about there new cars :0 so new to the central belt are 2 brand new bmw and a vauxhall all 3 are undercover police cars now I had a wee noise at them and they are identical to a normal car so thinking they haven't modified them I asked 1 the police today what's happening to them so this is what I find out


The blue lights are now hidden :0 they are mixed in with the headlights so no more grill lights :( only 1 ariel on 1 of them the lights pop out from under the car there is more but he wouldn't tell me lol so basically there is now no way of telling if its police or not anymore so central belt of scotland this summer beware

Are they allowed to be "completely" unmarked? The unmarked Focus's around Glasgow have POLICE on the rear bumper.

Yeah if you think of traffic cops around glasgow the unmarked cars are completely unmarked.

Just need to be extra careful these days I guess.
 
The reg is even the same as a standard car I sat and looked a good 20 mins trying to find something n sorry to say couldn't find a thing
 
The local constabulary where I live use totally unmarked cars.
From 5 series tourings to R32 Golfs.

Yeah my mate bought a ex police r32 golf in grey! Just wondered how much they would spend to fuel it everyday

Damn it. Edinburgh isn't this bad with unmarked cars, which is always good haha. I'm always paranoid every time im through in Glasgow about under cover cars.

Glasgow/North Lanarkshire is full of them, its murder!

Hence why im getting a spec2 as I can't drive fast but will sound as if I am :p
 
One easy way to tell, look for the two pricks in the front seats :D
 
The police here used to use 2 completely unmarked Bmw's. It's not so bad here as it's a smaller place 9/10 times you recognize the reg. I'll have to keep my eye's pealed now.
 
I have no simpathy for the people who now have to "be careful" when driving around like cocks. Go 5-0 that's all I can say.
 
ive seen some police cars that you would never dream were police cars

basicly anything that can carry passengers in the back is a cop car!
 
nah Birmingham area is "BX" so if you see an audi, bmw, Jaguar with BX plate then becareful. Also seen "SD" and i think i seen a BU aswell
