I drove my car back from work (non-thrashing) and parked up, decided to move my car and found a puddle of water on my drive way.

Jacked the car up and found there was water leaking from the hose/seal.

I've attached a picture below. Its taken from just under the left hand side of the car (passenger side)

Can anyone help me identify if this is a water pump failure?

Is it safe to drive the car? If so, how far can I drive?

Please help.

thats your wishbone bushin that the damp patch is on i doubt its ur water pump leakin bcos that in behind the timin belt cover!

Cool,

Any idea, where the water could be dripping from, like above the wishbone bushing?

The water is clear is too!

Just puzzled, and wondering if it's safe to drive?

it could have jus been a bit inside the chassis holes around that bushin....or its prob jus from the water run off from under the black plastic panel at the bottom of ur windscreen...id say its safe to drive...if ur unsure(wen the car is cold!!!)take off the radiator cap an if u see coolant at the top of the rad u dont have a leak.

do you have aircon, just above there is the drain from your air-con condensor thats inside your dash, as it gets really cold, moisture condenses on its surface (like on an ice cold coke can) and drips down and out of the drain. If you were using your aircond yesterday then thats what it was. I wouldnt worry about it.
