Power loss, feels like fuel surge

Took the car out for a "spirited drive" today and noticed a big dip in power while in vtec during cornering. The hesitation feels like fuel surge but the car had over half a tank of bp ultimate. It normally happens in second gear corners at roughly 7k rpm (also on a steep uphill bend in 3rd gear) and noticeably bogs down before picking up again?

Ive done a few searches but come up with nothing on fuel surge, im now thinking it could be a dodgy earth? anyone had this problem before?
 
funny you say that, im fitting the tegiwa baffle plate tomorrow, hopefully that will solve it.

As above. The forces involved when cornering at speed push the oil away from the oil pick up, starving the engine of oil, ecu notices the drop in oil pressure and the kicks out of vtec as a kinda safety measure. Can also do it if you're low on oil
 
I have had fuel surge but only ever while on track with propper coilovers etc and semi slicks and 1/4 tank.
