Pre & facelift bonnet differences

Hi all,
Does anyone know the actual difference between a pre & facelift bonnet/hood, as in the size difference,

The reason I ask is that the carbon bonnet on the civic is an awful fit and I wondered if it was pre on my facelift EK.

You could possibly have a pre-facelift bonnet :p

Or the actual carbon part is poorly made, because I've heard stories of Carbon Culture (?) products having poor fitment. What brand is it?
 
I'm not sure as it came on the car. It's just a really poor fit around the headlights, and there must be at least a 10mm gap down either side.
 
It's just all generally out of alignment.
The headlight sticks out from the wing a lot also.
I would suggest taking the front bumper off slackening all the headlight bolts and wing bolts and have a go at moving the wings in and headlights back.

You probably have some slightly bent brackets behind the bumper
 
Ah good stuff.
I'm replacing all the bumpers, wings and headlights anyway, so as I put it all back together it might sit better.

Its a facelift Seibon Paul, it was not a great fit when I installed it new, however the shunt into the barrier at Snett has put all the front panels out. With new panels it will be good mate.
 
I was about to say the bonnet looks like it lines up correctly and can only assume the car had a tap at the front at some stage.
 
Cheers matey. She'll be back together with new panels soon, so hopefully all will be good :)
