Project milano red dc2

Looking good mate. Just get a nut welded to that broken stud and remove it that way.

From what I'm seeing it looks as though you could. You need to get it out regardless. Even if you need to drill and helicoil it.

The heat from the welding should help break the bond between the stud and the head as well. It should just come straight out if you can weld it.

Im with you now, ok i`ll try get hold of a mobile welder to take a look. Cheers guys

Good news, got the broken stud out!

I wasn't happy with the quality of the front ARB bushes I had so I got these instead, I'll be using them with the original brackets.

Just need to sort the wiring out now, then I can crack on with getting the engine in

Did you end up building the motor mate ? Or is it just a stock block ?

Lol or the `brave` mans way, I didnt want to get carried away with changing the internals, just yet. I wanna get a feel for it first and then if I feel the urge for more power or if the engine goes pop I`ll go back to the drawing board and consider forged internals.

Ok.....

ITR flywheel and CC stage 4 clutch installed

Gearbox back on

Engine's finally in

Some sneaky shot's of what's to follow shortly

That was just a test fit, I'm going to leave the car NA for a couple of weeks just make sure everythings running ok before fitting the turbo kit.

Honda S300 has been sent off to Scott @ H-Tune to be installed.

The next job is to sort out the wiring issue with the indicators, I'm waiting for a replacement interior loom (non abs this time) hopefully this will fix it.

I'm not looking to chase figures tbh, main priority is the balance but anything between 300-350bhp i'd be more then happy with.

Hardrace shifter bushes fitted

Changed the exhaust manifold studs for some stainless steel ones

Some fresh oil

Got my Hondata S300 back

Cars running CEL code free now, sorted the code 14 big thanks to Maz at HondR! within 30secs of me explaining the issue to him he had pin pointed the problem... it was down to the wrong socket connected to the IAC! silly mistake but so easily done as the stock b18c4 inlet mani sits much lower then the skunk2 one, the plug naturally looked like it was meant to go there.

Next on the agenda is as follows

*Get the Volks refurbed and get some fresh Yokohama AD08's them

*Full geometry setup (thinking of getting it trailered to performance autoworks)

*Get the car MOT

AND last but not least............. Get this turbo kit fitted! I think I'm going to take it up to Will @ RDT for the tuning..... nearly there now

***UPDATES***

Got these today

Also buffed up the headlights as they were looking a little sorry for themselves

Hopefully some big updates coming up soon, got a couple weeks off from work so I can try and get this thing finished!

Few updates

Payed Aline a visit to sort out the geometry

Bit of an impulsive buy....

Mugen Gen2 Spoiler, I love it!
