So it's been 7 months since the last update, i've been deciding on what to do then collecting parts - so here's what i've been upto

Before it was taken off the road

Started stripping

The donor and daily runner

B18C4! can only mean one thing................BOOST!! I couldn't help but paint the rocker cover

Will be treating the car to a full re-bush with some Hardrace bushes, steering bushes, PAS steering removed and ABS removed, front and rear camber arms

Starting removing the ABS wiring, didn't know what I was getting myself into!

Gave the front wheel arches some fresh underseal

Last but not least!

Go-autoworks pro kit, with GT 500 race (back door) intercooler

Updates

suspension and arms have been removed, will be getting powder coated and then fitted with hardrace bush kit, complete car minus RTA as i'll be using some genuine Honda ones.

Need to re-underseal the whole car while the suspension is off.

Coilovers stripped down

Unwanted holes welded in the bay

Need to smooth it down and then get it ready for paint
I'm considering stitch welding the joints and strut towers to give it some extra strength

Did some more shopping

Completed undersealing the rear

Steering rack bushes removed to replace with some new ones (hardened rubber)

Test fitted non abs prop valve and brake lines

Hopefully all the suspension arms and a few bits and bobs will be ready to collect from the powder coaters, I can then crack on with installing the hardrace bushes and getting the suspension re-fitted and the wheels back on.... Then get the bay sorted!

Ordered a few more parts

Hardrace front cambers arms, rear camber arms and rear toe arms.

Also got some new drop links, inner and outer track rod ends, rear trailing arm bushes, front and rear ARB D bushes... This should now make for a complete re-bush and suspension overhaul

Pick up all 49 items items yesterday! all freshly powder coated

Pressed the Hardrace bushes in

New wheel bearings

Even replaced the coilover bushes

Coilovers cleaned, springs powder coated and all reassembled

Hardened steering rack bushes

Started reassembling the subframe (will be ordering some billet engine mounts soon)

Got some goodies earlier

Slow Progress - Still waiting for some parts to come through the post to complete the suspension.

In the mean time changed some more bushes

Anti Roll end bushes and collets

I had to rub down some surface rust in the bay and cover it up with some zinc primer for the time being

Purchased a Walbro fuel pump
