pulz EK[x] 1996/2000

I have been surfing these forums for a year now and i tought i might as well make a thread.

Last year i picked up a EK4 that was slighty modified. The previous owner was/is building a b16b mini morris so he imported an Ek9.
The left over parts he installed on his EK4.

So he ended up with strange looking Civic from 1996 with a lot of 2000 EK9 parts. Sadly it was still running the d16 motor.

So right after i bought the car i started ordering some "fun" parts.

January 2009 we started the rebuild and got it alive and kicking in early february. I would have been done a lot earlier if i read up on the conversion better and actually ordered all the parts i needed

So heres my Car. And yes it has 2 colors.
Regular Civic white and CW white.

Upgrade list:
B18C with gearbox from a Integra type-R JDM (1997 edition)
P28 ecu with chrome
FUJITSUBO Legalis-R
ASR subframe kit

Brakes:
Upgraded to Ek9 brakes.
Ferado ds2500 front pads
Dixcel Z-type rear pads

Interior:
Recaro seats
Red floor mat (ek9)
Ek9 steering wheel
Backseats have been stripped and covers have been installed on the original backseats.
CTR speedo (bought on yahoo auction in japan)

Exterior:
Upgraded to the 99-00 facelift
All these parts are from the ek9:
Front bumper
Front fenders
Bonnet
Front and rear lights
Doors
Backlid (or whats its called)
Rear bumper

Wheels:
Volk Te37 Bronze (15")
OEM Ek9 wheels (winter)

Not much going on latley, hopefully getting it back from the painters tomorrow

Since i live in the salt capital of the world aka norway(we use salt during the winters). I had to change the wheel arch since it was crispy

As you can see in the pictures, the regular ek4 back windows where changed with the CTR windows some weeks back.
Just dotting the I trying to get it "perfect", sometimes i think im mad for doing all this

Lowering is on planning stage, but not ATM. I have been on the tracks with it and it handles great.

Its not all about the looks you know, function before looks

Sadly i missed a trackday last weekend due to the painting of the car. But its sommer again in 6 months

Picked up the car from the painters yesterday. I had a deal with painters that i did and the dissasembling and assembling of the car. So most part of the evning whent away on that

Pics from when i was putting the rear fender back to gether.

After mounting the front fender in poring rain i decided to go out the garage and mount the rest there.

A strange creature hanging around in the garage that just had to be inn all pictures

Will see if i can take some pictures later on. When its daylight and when its not raining. That will probaly be in 2010 if this weather continues

They are perfect fit. No labels inside them who reveal who really made them sadly. But they came with an DC2 that my friend imported from japan.

Found one label but cant read it, its so faded.
