questions for b20b build up

hi, i still new with honda b series engine, i having a b16a/b20b engine it gets ard 165hp. is it the horsepower consider normal for this enigine?? somemore i'm using stock b16a tb and intake manifold, i want to change to itr tb and intake manifold, is it appropriate for this engine? please giv me an advice. =)
 
seems normal for what u got. u only got about 9.1 compression thats really whats holding u back. b20z pistons will bring it up to 10.1 and supertech makes a bunch of different combo's for 84mm.
 
stock b16 head on stock b20 block with your average intake, header, exhaust, and tune is usually about 175whp.
 
thanks for ur advice, currently i change some parts which are b16b header, 2.3 inch piping and exhaust, walbro fuel pump, engine management. does it increase my hp if i change the intake manifold? eventually i wanted to swap the whole head into b18b, but lack of $$$. izzit suitable if i put itr intake manifold for this settings? thanks (sek2dts@aol.com and blinx9900)

matching b18 head into b20 bottom will give you a monster frank set up, im running this set up

It's best if you establish a goal, then we can better help you from there, we need to know all of your current mods in order to give you better advice.

I am not sure what you are asking here but the b18b head is a non-vtec head.

You need to be more specific, what kind of b18 head are you talking about? b18a b18b b18c1 b18c4 b18c5 b18c???
 
aiks... i'm sorry its not b18b, is b18c but i dunno wat number at the back coz the halfcuts we taken, is from japan so i'm not sure wat model is tat. wat mods i wan is tat, wanted to do a b18c/b20b engine. my current engine run wif:
-b16a top from civic eg9 / b20b block, b16a TB and intake manifold,
- b16b header
- walbro 255lph fuel pump
- emanage
- 4.4 fd gear box without lsd

thats all my mods and i only get 165hp from dyno. i use my car for daily drive and once a while on track. so izzit better if i change the top into b18c??

NO, a b18c top will not be better unless its a b18c type r with type r cams in it, but with that said you can also just put the type r cams in the b16 head if thats the case.

What part of the world are you from?
 
sorry, for causing so much confusion, wat i mean is b18c type r. how much hp will i gain if i use the b18c type-r head and manifold convert into my current engine? at first i was planning to change b18c type-r manifold and tb, i scared it doesnt gain much of wat i did. blinx9900 can giv me some advice regarding to the engine?
 
You should sell your car to me very very cheap and get a new FD2R. That will solve all your problems =)
