What are parts availability like for the EK9 and what insurance company do people on here use, been getting silly quotes for this car ? Please help :)):thanks:

They are so easy to come by parts for the ek9! No worries there and theres so much to choose from! Plenty of aftermarket parts available! As for insurance it all depends on you age, no claims etc. Make sure you shop around theres always somewhere that will be cheaper!

There's alot of people that are breaking ek9s so parts are readily available.. And Honda still stock everything if you have a big enough bank account!
Alot of ek9 drivers use SKY insurance, but they wouldn't touch me because of my postcode!

seems like a alot of guys from manchester are in the same situation as you joe :(

Ye I'd look at elephant and admiral sky can sometimes only insure 3rd party in some circumstances and as stated above parts are always available

Yeah it's no good.. I live in a nice area aswell! Cheapest I could find was £1400 (I'm 26 with 6 years ncb) but I'm used to it now

Will do some ringing around I think as you advised, I'm an old git and was quoted nearly the same as what I am paying now for JDM Impreza 03 all singing dancing jap beastie, so will search around and keep you posted, so that you can laugh. :D

sadly they aren't cheap to insure man :((.......

worth it though ;)

yeah mate you will get plenty parts about, especially on here plenty of people breakin civics :) basically all your questions asked above but parts are not a problem at all! good luck if your goin for a 9 :))

Parts are easy to come buy, just got my 9' and had to purchase a few. Im insured with Elephant, no one else apart from Admiral (same underwriters) could touch them. Sky wouldn't insure me due to postcode and Adrian Flux was £6,600.
