Hey Guys,

Me again,
Just to give you all a quick update, I know I've been taking my time with my EK4, but I haven't had a lot of time to mess around with it,

My Original Gearbox had a crack in the housing so it wouldn't hold onto the gearbox itself very well, So I bought a new gearbox, as finding the housing proved very difficult!

I've now fitted the new gearbox. For the record, the original was an S4C, the one I have fitted now is a Y21, I have read up a little bit about them and wasn't too sure of the difference, So I wasn't too bothered ( tell me if I should be )

I still need to get new suspension and Top mounts for them, but it's all coming along slowly!

I'll be adding pictures to this in due time to show you all what I've got and what I've done :)

Thanks for Reading Guys!

Michael

So here is the old Gearbox and Housing,

as you can see one of the bolting points has cracked off (have no idea how this happened as the useless previous owner didn't know either)

Tried JB welding it, Didn't really work :D

And this is the old S4C gearbox itself, completely working, nothing wrong with it,
Not quite sure what to do with it, Might sell it, so if anyone is interested, give me a PM, I'll even drop in the broken Housing with it lol

Car is back together and is up and running!

Just need some Coilovers and Engine mounts!

Will take some pictures tomorrow :)

I think there isn't a lot of difference that will be noticable with anything but an extremely tuned B16. Moving your topic to the projects subforum :nice:

Thanks JT, wasn't sure where to put it! Thanks, What do you mean Extremely tuned :p

Will change the wheels over on the front to the same wheels that are on the Back, just gotta swap the tyres over,

Gotta' clean the intake as well, because it's a bit dirty and it keeps backfiring, sounds good though ;)

Any one got any suggestions?

Just took off the old Lights, as the screens had a lot of sunlight damage (polish can only take out so much) and they were cracked on the inside, allowing water and air to get in;

And here are the new Halo Projectors that I fit today with my brother;

They are fully serviceable, get in contact with a Ohlins distributor and they will be able to supply you with a rebuild kit.

Okay!

So after getting the delicious Enkei's off of Darragh, (thanks a lot by the way)
I fitted them, and bought some Tyres, and the Suspension, I went with a width of 50 because they didn't have 45's in Stock, and I couldn't be bothered to wait a week.

I fitted them and here they are! just waiting on Autoglass to come on Sunday to replace the wind screen;
